Integrations (Meta Business)
Infinite∞Ad automations can only function if the system has access to your Meta account. You can make this connection on the Integrations page.
By connecting your profile, the system automatically gains access to the Facebook pages, Instagram Business accounts, and ad accounts you manage. If the connection to a profile is broken, the automations of the brands built on it will also stop.
Connecting social media platforms is only possible with Owner, Admin, and Standard User roles. (For more on permissions: Organization and Team Management)
Connecting a Profile
The foundation of the connection is a personal Facebook profile that has administrator permissions for the pages and ad accounts you want to manage.
The Connect Profile button initiates Meta's standard (OAuth) authentication flow. After a successful connection, the personal profile appears on the Integrations page.
Infinite∞Ad is a Meta-certified and approved Tech Provider. The connection is established through Meta's official OAuth process, and personal data is protected.
Expiration and Renewal
For security reasons, Meta provides time-limited access tokens. If a profile shows the "Reconnection required!" message, automations will stop. In this case, you need to click the refresh icon and re-complete the login process.
Profile Disconnection
Clicking the close icon in the profile row disconnects the Meta profile. If the profile has brands with active automations, a warning dialog shows the list of affected automations before final confirmation.
After disconnection:
- The profile disappears from the Integrations list.
- The ad accounts and source pages associated with this profile receive an error indicator on the connected brands.
Profile disconnection takes effect immediately. Brands linked to the disconnected profile lose their social connection, and automations will stop.
Troubleshooting
Facebook pages are not showing when creating a brand: No Facebook pages are linked to the Meta profile in Meta Business Manager, or you did not grant the required access permissions during connection. Solution: check your Meta Business Manager settings and make sure the profile has the necessary admin permissions for the pages, then reconnect the profile.
Instagram account is not showing at the brand source: The Instagram Business account must be linked to a Facebook page in Meta Business Manager. Once this is done, Infinite∞Ad will automatically recognize it and display it alongside the Facebook page at the brand.
"Missing permission" message: Infinite∞Ad did not receive all the required access permissions during connection. Use the "Reconnect" icon to repeat the OAuth process and grant all requested permissions.
