Integrations (Connecting Meta Platforms)
Infinite∞Ad automations can only function if the system has access to your Meta ad accounts and your Facebook and Instagram pages. You can make this connection on the Integrations page.
Connecting social media platforms is only possible with Owner, Admin, and Standard User roles. (For more on permissions: Organization and Team Management)
The connection consists of three layers built on top of each other. If the connection is broken at the base level (personal profile), the automations of elements built on it (pages, ad accounts) will also stop.
1. Connecting a Personal Profile
The foundation of the connection is a personal Facebook profile that has administrator permissions for the pages and ad accounts you want to manage.
The Connect Profile button initiates Meta's standard (OAuth) authentication flow. After a successful connection, the personal profile appears on the Profiles tab.
Infinite∞Ad is a Meta-certified and approved Tech Provider. The connection is established through Meta's official OAuth process, and personal data is protected.
Expiration and Renewal
For security reasons, Meta provides time-limited access tokens. If a profile shows the "Reconnection required!" message, automations will stop. In this case, you need to click the refresh icon and re-complete the login process.
2. Connecting Ad Accounts
After connecting your profile, on the Ad Accounts tab you can see the accounts you have access to. By checking the checkbox, you give Infinite∞Ad explicit permission to read and manage that account.
Exceptions and Error States When Connecting
- No active subscription: The system blocks the connection until you have a valid subscription plan.
- Missing payment method / Outstanding balance: If no bank card is set up on the Meta platform for the ad account, or you have an outstanding balance, Infinite∞Ad cannot connect it. The error dialog provides a direct link to Meta's payment settings.
Ad Account Settings
By clicking the arrow icon in the row of connected accounts, the settings panel for that account opens. The following features are available here:
- Weekly Campaign Report: An automatically generated weekly performance report on campaigns.
3. Pages (Facebook and Instagram)
The list shows every Facebook page you have access to through your connected Meta profile. If a Facebook page has an Instagram Business account linked to it in Meta Business Manager, the Instagram profile also appears automatically next to the page in the same row.
When connecting a Facebook page, Infinite∞Ad automatically connects the associated Instagram Business account as well, if one exists.
Permissions
Only the user who originally connected a page can disconnect it.
Subscription Limits
Your active subscription plan determines how many brands (pages) you can manage at the same time. When you reach the limit, the system will offer an upgrade.
Profile Disconnection
On the Profiles tab, clicking the close icon in the profile row disconnects the Meta profile. After disconnection:
- The profile disappears from the Profiles list
- The Ad Accounts, Facebook Pages, and Instagram accounts associated with this profile also disappear from the lists
Profile disconnection takes effect immediately. Brands linked to the disconnected profile lose their social connection, and automations will stop.
Troubleshooting
Facebook pages are not showing in the list: No Facebook pages are linked to the Meta profile in Meta Business Manager, or you did not grant the required access permissions during connection. Solution: check your Meta Business Manager settings and make sure the profile has the necessary admin permissions for the pages, then reconnect the profile.
Instagram account is not showing: The Instagram Business account must be linked to a Facebook page in Meta Business Manager.
"Missing permission" message: Infinite∞Creator did not receive all the required access permissions during connection. Use the "Reconnect" icon to repeat the OAuth process and grant all requested permissions.
